As expected, the P-Stomp exceeded the minimal standard of satisfaction. By 4 a.m. last night (when ? and the Mysterians was STILL playing) the two nights of American music had added more than a few rockin' gems to my concert going repertoire. Here are a few shitty camera phone shots I'd like to share.

An intoxicating explosion of rhythm and blues happened when Bobby Patterson took the stage with Oxford, Mississippi's Wiley and the Checkmates. Or maybe it was that alcohol I drank.

Also, read about the Ponderosa Stomp Foundation here. One of the main functions of the foundation is to dig up the obscure yet influential "architechs of American music." Is there any under-recognized American musician(s) you revere?
