Not Made in China is my approach to bringing high quality, local, and handmade items to the consumer.
Today, in an ever growing internationalizing economy, we are rarely given a competitive choice for some of the most functional and aesthetic parts of our lives. The market for high quality handmade items has generally been moved to the art market, and reserved for those willing to pay “Top Dollar,” leaving the working class to purchase the corporate structures one world approach to everyday aesthetics: mass production.

We here at Not Made In China Pottery Studios and Gallery are everyday people showing our pride to be life artists.
As such, we would like to beautify our life at prices which don’t affect your enjoyment. Help us to re-create a world where aesthetics and a love for beauty flourishes in every aspect of all of our lives.

The Albuquerque Folk Festival is focused on public participation. It is about teaching, not just entertainment. The Festival aspires to remind people of the days when they could create their own entertainment by going to the community dance, telling stories to their families or playing music on the front porch with friends. Musical activities include influence from old American, New Mexican, Middle Eastern and other international traditions.
