Where is your new location?
At the corner of Gold and Broadway. Just one block south of Central. We are restoring the building that was a music school in 1941, a tire shop in the 1920s and a speakeasy during prohibition. The 9,000 sq ft building will have the spa, product manufacturing, yoga/dance classes and live music. The purchase and restoration has been funded by our clients and private investors. People that invest $5,000 or more get five years worth of free facials (60 of them) and then get their money back with interest at the end of five years! It's been amazing to get so much support.
What is your newest product?
Like the infamous, albeit fictional, chemical kingpin from “Breaking Bad”—the smash-hit television series both filmed and set in Albuquerque—we have also cleverly cashed in on the sky-blue meth, although our chemistry isn’t breaking any laws. Our new “Bathing Bad” Bath Salts are just the same color—and are sold in similarly-themed 8 oz. baggies—just like you might find on the street. Since releasing the new Bathing Bad Bath Salts, they’ve already moved over 100 pounds of their new product in 48 different states and 12 countries. Our success and celebrity clientele have been featured in the LA Times and several other online news portals. With numbers like that, it’s hard to believe “Heisenberg” himself isn’t on the payroll, cooking up the cerulean soap somewhere. Cooked right in downtown Albuquerque, Bathing Bad is what happens when two fans of Breaking Bad buy a 9,000 sq ft building that had been vacant for 10 years. They needed major money to renovate and asked themselves "What Would Walter White Do?" Bathing Bad was a much better option than meth. The line features blue bathing products including lotions, soaps and scrubs. All organic and natural ingredients including the blue dye derived from red cabbage.

We think the best way to grow a business is to be part of the community. By sponsoring events and supporting the film industry, we get to interact with the best people. In two years we have given almost $100,000 in free certificates and services to support film and TV in New Mexico. We think it’s the most important growth industry in our state.
