What do you learn at NMSNT?
Over 800 hours of training in massage therapy, polarity, traditional Chinese medicine, cranial-sacral, flower remedies, reflexology, living, food and nutrition, herbal medicine, core synchronism, homeopathy and so much more!
Do you have full-time and part-time programs?
We offer full-time programs that are six months long and part-time programs that are one year long. We have part-time morning and evening classes. Our programs begin every September, October, March and May.
What is unique about your school?
Our school educates students to work with different healing modalities and gives them the hands-on experience to create treatments that are for the individuals' specific needs. We look at the individual from a holistic standpoint and help clients on a multitude of levels. We have been educating students from over 20 countries for 39 years. We are one of the oldest schools in the nation.
What can you do with this type of training?
You can become a licensed massage therapist, and you are awarded the title Natural Therapeutic Specialist through our program. Our curriculum gives students a thorough experience in nature cure, physical and energetic modalities. Graduates can start a business and become their own boss or work in various medical settings, spas and wellness centers—the sky is the limit! You leave our program with enough hands-on experience to go confidently into the world.
Do you have a job placement program?
We offer all of our graduates the opportunity to work in our clinic and earn money. This eases the transition from student life to the professional world and gives graduates a chance to build their own clientele.
When do the next classes begin?
September 3, 2013 is the first day of class for the full-time program. They meet 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays for six months. October 15, 2013 is the first day of the part-time program that meets in the mornings from 9 a.m. to noon on weekdays and is one year long in duration.
What kind of students typically enroll?
Our school has a diverse student body and is comprised of people from all walks of life. Individuals out of high school to the retired folk and everyone in between. Some have a health background, and others are here for a career change.
Why choose NMSNT?
If you're looking to deepen your experience in life, work with people in meaningful ways, be creative and have your autonomy, NMSNT is a great journey to embark upon. The information you learn in the classroom influences the quality of life that you live, the lives of others, and you can make a difference in the world.
