Il Vicino Brewery has leased space to build a brewery at Stanford and Aztec after losing its lease at the Vassar location. Former Chama brewer Jeff Erway had a brewing line trucked in from Ohio and is a baby step closer to opening his own brewery. Baby steps. His wife is pregnant.
Here’s your tap list and notes from the experts, before this turns into a damn gossip column.
Vienna Lager: “Made with Munich and Vienna malts and Tettnanger hops, this Amber Lager drinks easy without sacrificing flavor.” 4.5 percent ABV

Double White Ale: “This Belgian-style pale wheat ale is fragrant, dry and a touch tart. Brewed with coriander and orange and lemon peel, giving a distinct flavor.” 7 percent ABV
Hefeweizen: “A traditional German-style unfiltered wheat beer.” 5 percent ABV
