ACLU adds three same-sex couples to its lawsuit against New Mexico. That brings the plaintiff total to five loving couples being denied equal rights.

Attorney General Gary King said, "I think the language in today’s DOMA/Windsor ruling should be quite helpful to our courts in determining the constitutionality of New Mexico’s statutes that prevent same sex marriage."

In reproductive rights news, Gov. Goodhair aka Rick Perry is recalling senators for a second special session starting July 1 to deal with abortion regulation, transportation funding and juvenile sentencing standards—and the world will be watching.
