The National Hispanic Cultural Center is pleased to offer "Jugamos Juntos: A Summer of Free Family Fun." During June, July, and August, 2014, families can come to the Center for a variety of activities, including classes with local musicians on the third Saturday of each month.

The goal of "Cantando la Cultura," a sing-along for participants of all ages, is to engage children and adults in preserving culture through learning the history, lyrics, and music for traditional songs from New Mexico and Latin America.

Frank Leto, a talented instrumentalist, composer, and leader of the band PANdemonium, plays Brazilian percussion, Afro-Cuban percussion, and Trinidadian steel drums. He is also a professional educator whose children's music has won national awards. He has toured Japan, the Philippines, Okinawa, and the Hawaiian Islands, and his love for rhythms has taken him to Brazil, Puerto Rico, and Cuba, where he studied soneros, tres, and batá.

Leto has presented multicultural children's concerts at the NHCC for the past several years, in addition to producing the Center's annual Carnaval celebration. Free public event
