Trilingual production (Náhuatl, Spanish and English) incorporates music, lighting, costumes, props and projections into the performance of some of Mexico’s best poetry from over five centuries.
Beginning with Nezahualcóyotl, the “Poet King of Texcoco,” Poesía de México also features the works of Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz, Amado Nervo, Enrique González Martínez, Octavio Paz, Rosario Castellanos, Jaime Sabines, Homero Aridjis, Hector Carreto, and Javier Sicilia.
