The Haunting of Hill House

The story of an experiment in paranormal psychology in which a group of psychic researchers gathers to challenge the unknown forces that possess a mansion.

Eleanor Vance, a young woman who has suffered a childhood trauma; Theodora, a spoiled party girl, and Luke Sanderson, the heir to the brooding, isolated and innately forbidding mansion respond to an invitation by Dr. Montague, a ghost hunter to join him at Hill House.  The house slowly reveals its ugly secrets, including that it wants to possess one of the group.
