Concordia Santa Fe presents Stravinsky’s Firebird Suite, taken from the ballet depicting the legend of the phoenix, and other works that evoke aspects of flight and the heavens by 20th and 21st century composers.

Other works by artists including Jonathan Dagenais, Ryan George, Frank Ticheli, and Dana Wilson. Members of the wind ensemble’s brass and percussion sections will also perform the overture to the film, Dancer in the Dark, written by Icelandic singer-songwriter and actor, Björk.
