Find out what we’re learning from our first close-up images from Dawn and New Horizons along with an overview of other spacecraft missions to asteroids and comets.

The Dawn spacecraft began orbiting the largest asteroid, Ceres, in March 2015. The New Horizons spacecraft is due to fly by the Kuiper Belt Object (formerly planet) Pluto in July 2015. Find out what we’re learning from our first close-up images of these two solar system bodies along with an overview of other spacecraft missions to asteroids and comets.
