Sheep have dramatically changed the culture and landscape throughout the state and continue to have a significant impact. A presentation by William Dunmire and Donald Chavez.

Sheep, the symbol of Bernalillo County, were brought to New Mexico in the late 1500’s by the Spaniards. After the event, William Dunmire will be selling and signing his book, New Mexico’s Spanish Livestock Heritage: Four Centuries of Animals, Land and People.
