Tinkergarten

Play Time

This Saturday, Jan. 7, get your kids off the couch and on the ground at the Alameda Open Space from 10-11:15am. Children 18 months to 5 years will get the opportunity to explore, problem-solve, communicate, collaborate and create together. Based on the national play scenario movement called “Tinkergarten,” Erin Earl will lead and proactively motivate kids to learn while engaging in nature. The curriculum adapts to the season with lessons building to reflect past educational and physical exercises. This class is free, but later this month you'll need to pay to enroll your little ones to join in on the fun. (Megan Reneau)
