This exhibition was inspired by SFUAD contributing faculty member Sarah Stolar’s oil painting class studio course, Color and Technique. This course allows students to explore all forms of color as a guide for self-expression, including using painting as a cathartic experience of the current social climate. The exhibition displays pieces with variation with color, which includes (but not limited too): vibrancy of colors, natural colors, signal color, and color expression in black and white.
“These SFUAD student artists went above and beyond to create artwork that highlights each individual artist’s style, symbolism, and unique perspective,” said Sarah Stolar, contributing faculty member, SFUAD. “During this process this group pushed their boundaries by expanding their skills, as well as broadening their artistic perspective.”
