 Lecture by author Brent A. Cruz on his new book:

"Una Familia Mas Noble y Antigua: A Preliminary Study of the Asturian Ancestry of Capitan Francisco Montes Vigil of New Mexico"

 Brent A. Cruz holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Georgetown University, two master’s degrees, and a Doctorate in Religious Studies from the University of Denver. A writer, demographer, and historian, he has spent thirty-seven years pursuing genealogical research. Descended from a family which settled in Colorado in 1864 he is a ninth-great-grandson of Capitán Francisco Montes Vigil.
