The Jackie Zamora Brazilian Quintet specializes in the different styles of samba, baião, bossa ballads and Brazilian jazz.

Dogbone Trio is a new group comprising Maren Hatch on upright bass, Micah Hood on trombone, and Jefferson Voorhees on drums. The three met this past spring and discovered instant affinity in their freewheeling, eclectic approach to playing, and all their dogs hang out together when they practice – thus, Dogbone! Maren Hatch holds a BA in Jazz Studies from UNM, where she is now pursuing a Masters in electrical engineering. She performs regularly with Entourage Jazz and The Wild Humans. Micah Hood, a versatile freelance trombonist, teaches music theory at Santa Fe Community College and manages the MAST Project music technology lab at UNM while also performing regularly with Baracutanga and Big Sol Band.  Jefferson Voorhees has, over the past 25 years, played with The Tom Guralnick Trio, Wagogo and Bayou Seco, in addition to numerous solo, duet, and trio projects. He currently performs with Pray For Brain, Saudade and Jasper, and is an accompanist for Ballet Afrique classes at Maple Street Dance Studio.
