Famous and Unusual Graves in N.M.

Grave New World

Do you like your history with a side of the macabre? If you were the kind of kid that got a kick out of making rubbings of epitaphs at the local cemetery, then you're going to love the Halloween history tour that the Loma Colorado Main Library has planned for the Famous and Unusual Graves in N.M. talk. This Thursday, Oct. 26, local historian Dr. Richard Melzer takes the intrepid on a tour of New Mexico's famous graves. Criminals, artists, the infamous and the glamorous, our state is the eternal home of them all. Check in to this free event at 6pm, find a seat and rest in peace for the duration of the hour-and-a-half presentation. (Maggie Grimason)
