Come face-to-face with some of the striking beauties on a keeper-guided adventure. Registration required.

Come face to face with some of the BioPark’s most curious and endearing animals on a keeper-guided adventure. Your tour begins in the land down under to learn more about Australian marsupials. Enter the Tasmanian devil dens where you may get to see one up close. Learn about the Devil Facial Tumor disease and how the BioPark partners with the Australian government to save these threatened marsupials. Next, you will learn about another Tasmanian wonder – the wombat. Finally, you will have private access to the lorikeet aviary where you will have an exclusive opportunity to feed these fascinating and charismatic birds.

Take a peek behind the scenes at the Zoo, and meet some scaly reptiles up close!

Come face to face with some of the BioPark’s “striking beauties” on a keeper-guided adventure. Enjoy a backstage experience to view deadly—and not so deadly—reptiles up close. Your tour begins behind the scenes in the Reptile House where you will see how keepers care for this scaly collection. Learn how staff create specialized diets for some very complex animals, and find out how (and why) they handle the large and highly venomous reptiles. You will also have the chance to touch some of the non-venomous reptiles—be sure to bring your camera! Next comes the Crocodile House, where you will walk out on a gangway for a closer look at the huge saltwater crocodile and the critically endangered slender-snouted crocodile.Tickets are $75 per person, and pre-registration is required. All proceeds directly benefit the animals seen on the tour. All ages welcome.
