David Sedaris

Me Talk Pretty Friday

No one has a voice or style quite like David Sedaris. The beloved humorist, memoirist and multi-talented creative returns to Popejoy Hall for one night only this Friday, Nov. 17. This time around, Sedaris will take attendees on a spin through his past with an eye on what was funny about it by reading from his most recent publication, an edited compilation of journal entries called Theft by Finding: Diaries (1997-2002). The event, which starts at 8pm, also leaves healthy room for freeform discussion with an audience Q&A after the reading. Tickets start at $20 for the night of literary fun, and can be bought in advance online at popejoypresents.com.
