Curtis Quam presents one of the most important and beautiful Zuni narratives.

He will tell the story of the Zuni emergence and migration to Halona Idiwana or the Middle Place of the World. Quam will also discuss the importance of language and cultural place names in the perpetuation of traditional Zuni identity. This is an especially important presentation for Zuni audiences but not-Zuni audiences will find this part of Zuni history immensely helpful to understanding the Zuni world and Zuni relationships to the other pueblos.
