Class taught by John Henry, New Mexico's 2006 country champion.
This ain't no ballroom country. This is a throw-down at the hoedown. The class will consist of Appalachia style swing, Zydeco polka, Texas triple two and "real" country waltz. We will also touch on the cotton eyed-joe and the shottish. The history and origins of these dances will be explained throughout the course. Note: A $20 Floor Fee is payable to the instructor at the beginning of the first class session, fee includes CD.
