A multimedia production inspired by the real lives of Colorado philosophy professor and WWII veteran J. Glenn Gray, and his wife Ursula, a German survivor of the 1945 Allied bombing of Dresden, whose passion throughout her life was dance.
Exploring human potential for acts of profound destruction and creation in times of war, the signature visceral, athletic choreography of Artistic Director Curtis Uhlemann and Associate Artistic Director Erica Gionfriddo provides dynamic interaction with original script, music, and video by Multimedia Director Eliot Gray Fisher. Through ‘The Warriors,’ Fisher, grandson of the story's main characters, chronicles his search to understand their complex history and the importance of its memory. Performances are held at 1050 Old Pecos Trail in Santa Fe, 7:30pm Fridays and Saturdays, 2pm on Sundays. Email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 505-473-7434 for reservations. Tickets $20 adults, $15 students with discounts available. For more information, visit www.arcosdance.com.
