ALL-AGES!Free program focused on rare plants in the American southwest presented by New Mexico Division of Forestry botanist Daniela Roth.
Daniela Roth will discuss her twelve years of researching the status and distribution of rare plants for the Navajo Nation Natural Heritage Program, three years working in endangered plant recovery and conservation for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service in southern Utah, and one year working on rare and endangered plant documentation and research in New Mexico as the new state botanist, .
A short chapter meeting precedes the talk. Native plant books will be on display and available for purchase. This free public program is sponsored by the Albuquerque Chapter, Native Plant Society of New Mexico, and takes place at the New Mexico Museum of Natural History, 1801 Mountain Rd. NW, Albuquerque.
