Self-described inter-dimensional deviant Stuart Davis is a true multimedia artist. Equal parts comedian, musician and actor, Davis hosted a television sketch comedy series, “Sex, God, Rock 'n Roll,” which first aired in 2009 and had a second season in 2012. Exploring extraterrestrial ethics, sexuality and spirituality through songwriting, he started on the path to achieving higher consciousness through humor and art in the late-'90s. His newest, self-released album, Music for Mortals, finds Davis in full command of the considerable talents at his disposal. Davis plays two gigs in Burque on Friday and Saturday, March 15-16, at The Box Performance Space, starting at 7 p.m. Presale tickets are $11, and day-of-show admission jumps to $16.
