DESCRIPTION:Miguel Arzabe's work is an intimate exploration of deep influen
 ces arising from his Bolivian heritage\, his ancestors\, and their legends
 . El oto&ntilde\;o m&iacute\;o es tu primavera (my autumn is your spring) 
 combines new video and painting in an installation that references the spa
 tial distance\, the subjective understanding\, and the unrelenting passage
  of time that exists between two homes in different hemispheres. On two oc
 casions\, CCA will screen two new films by Miguel Arzabe. Opening night: M
 arch 15\, 6-8pm in the CCA Studio April 21\, 4pm: Join Miguel and his fath
 er as they discuss the process of making Leyendas del Altiplano\, and shar
 e additional stories\, legends\, and family tales. Full Moon Over Galisteo
 \, 2012\, is a quiet meditation on the struggle for connection and underst
 anding.
