The New Mexico Film Experience takes over Santa Fe’s Center for Contemporary Arts Cinematheque on Sunday, March 17. This partnership between CCA and the New Mexico Film Office features screenings and panel discussions about film from a local perspective. This month’s topic is “Composing for Film.” Composers and musicians Ck Marlow, Jeff Mettling, John Rangel, Andy Gabrys and Sue Lucas will be hosting the panel on what composing means for film and how it’s done. Films will be screened with and without score. This event will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. It is free and open to the public.
