Take a tour of the BioPark's Japanese Garden. Participants should arrive at the BioPark entrance by 10:15 a.m.
Japanese botanical designs grace the surface of many pieces in the exhibition, Deco Japan: Shaping Art and Culture, 1920-1945. Explore the botanical influences in Albuquerque’s Japanese Garden, built in honor of Sasebo, one of our Sister Cities. The garden boasts a four-acre majestic waterfall, an elegant koi pond and a mixture of Japanese and local plants.
This program is held in partnership with the ABQ BioPark. Attendees must register in advance for this guided tour by calling Jessica Coyle at The Albuquerque Museum at (505)243-7255. Bio Park admission fees apply. Participants should arrive at the BioPark entrance by 10:15 a.m.
