City of Albuquerque Open Space Superintendent and archaeologist Dr. Matt Schmader leads a walking tour and tells the story of how the Middle Rio Grande Valley has changed over time, shaped by natural and human forces. Registrations requested.

Part of the Bernalillo County Open Space Program’s ‘Naturalist Series.’  Awaken your senses to the natural world around you by observing the wondrous plants and animals in the Bosque and learn from local experts about this extraordinary ecosystem. Bernalillo County Open Space presents the Naturalist Series featured at Bachechi Open Space located at 9521 Rio Grande Blvd. Parking is available at the Alameda parking area. The workshops are FREE; however, space is limited and participations must register. Register online at www.bernco.gov/openspace.
