Bone up on electronics, Tex-Mex meets pop-punk and post-minimalist A/V service

Plurally named for the ulna, or elbow bone, Denton, Texas-based duo Ulnae creates experimental epics using classical instrumentation, improvised electronics, voice, pedals and effects galore. Lily Taylor and Darcy Neal’s performance methodology as Ulnae incorporates costumes, acoustics, projections and a slew of unconventional gadgets. Ulnae appears at High Mayhem (2811 Siler Lane) in Santa Fe on Saturday, June 15, along with Bathetic Records-signed ambient act Angelo Harmsworth. The concert begins at 8 p.m., and there’s a suggested donation of $10, but no one will be turned away for lack of funds.
