The classic tale of two children who venture into the woods and encounter the Gingerbread Witch.
Hansel and Gretel are sent deep into the forest for berries to fill their stomachs. Lost, the children meet hobgoblins, a troll, and other characters along the way. Eventually Hansel and Gretel come upon a gingerbread house made of candy and icing. The Gingerbread Witch catches them eating her house and makes plans to fatten them for a meal. This story has a happy ending as the witch is tricked by Gretel and stuffed into the oven to make a colorful and deliciousâ¦.gingerbread cookie!
