Canadian psych-pop/prog rock foursome The Besnard Lakes celebrates a decade of Jagjaguwar-signed splendor on their current tour. With four studio albums under their collective belt and a 2013 nomination of their latest, Until in Excess, Imperceptible UFO, for Canada’s most prestigious music award, the Polaris Music Prize, the band certainly isn’t experiencing creative drought. Catch the critically acclaimed group on Wednesday, Nov. 20, at Low Spirits (2823 Second Street NW). The 21-and-over gig revs up at 9pm, and admission is $8.
