Based on a classic children’s book, Elf on the Shelf is a beloved Christmas tradition for many families, and this year Rosewood Inn of the Anasazi is continuing the tradition for its youngest guests. From Thanksgiving through Christmas Eve, Zazi the Elf will be hidden somewhere around the Inn or Plaza each day, monitoring who is naughty and who is nice. Each child lucky enough to spot Zazi will then receive a fun prize. Additionally, the Anasazi Restaurant will offer a special holiday-themed children’s menu, including Fluffy Snow Scrambled Eggs and Feliz Navidad Quesadillas. For dessert, children can enjoy Reindeer Nuggets (Chocolate and Graham Cracker Morsels), Lumps of Coal (Chocolate and Peanuts Shaped into Lumps) or Santa’s Favorite Cookies. The children’s specialty drink menu is especially fun and festive, including Hot Cinnamon Milk (Non-Fat Milk, Cinnamon and Peppermint) and Rudolph’s Red Nose (Sprite, Pineapple Juice, Grenadine and Fruit Garnish). The Anasazi Restaurant’s Elf on the Shelf children’s menu will be served from November 29 through December 31, 2013. For reservations, please call 505.988.3030.
