Local directors have the opportunity to showcase their city, or rather, the BioPark. The contest ask filmmakers to shoot a 30-second commercial of any of the attractions at the BioPark, and the winner will receive $1,500 and have their commercial aired on local television. Second place gets $1,000, third gets $500, and the top 25 commercials will get screened at a gala at the KiMo Theatre. The contest opens Feb. 1 and runs through April 30. To enter, go to atlnm.com.
