A play based on oral histories of the viejitos of the Río Puerco Valley.
Collected/edited by celebrated folk historian, Nasario GarcÃa, adapted/directed by Shebana Coelho. Ranching families live out stories of land, loss, and community, spanning the 1910s through the 1950s in four now ghost towns near Cuba, NM. Â âShare Your Recuerdos" Open Mic before Sunday 4/6 and 4/13 performances: bring a treasure from yesterday/many yesterdays ago and share an anecdote (3-4min)
