Shakey Graves' "stunning" (KUT-FM) one-man show has made him a hero in his hometown, so much so that the Mayor of Austin, TX gave him his own holiday: February 9th is officially "Shakey Graves Day" in the Live Music Capitol of the World. NPR Music described his debut album "Roll the Bones" as "unclassifiably original and frighteningly good," while Daytrotter wrote, "Incredible storytelling... the full-bodied richness of a novella, set in the sketchy, rattlesnake-infested wilds of the southern parts of America." Austin quintet Whiskey Shivers will open the show.
