Learn how to center your body and work from neutral up to find a physicalization that matches the character you are playing.

We will touch upon both Physical and Vocal Character Development. Does where your character come from affect the way they stand? How they move? Where they move from? In this class, we will learn how to center your body and work from neutral up to find a physicalization that matches the character you are playing, how they feel in comparison to your own stature and how their life has effected the way they carry themselves. There are many types of vocal characters that you can create, if you are playing older/younger, kind/mean, caricature or simply changing your voice from your everyday voice. The characters you play, whether be in theatre, audio or visual mediums all have their own voice. In this class, we will look at characters from scripts and develop your own vocal take on the character based on what the script and the writer tells you.
