Catch the dancer's famous speed, power and dramatic footwork in this performance that's part of the Festival Flamenco Internacional de Albuquerque.

Famed for her speed, power, and dramatic footwork, Yerbabuena is considered by many aficionados to be one of the finest flamenco dancers of all time. "Her soleá is a dance for the annals: it reveals mastery, a deep understanding of flamenco's aesthetic, her full artistic personality," wrote ABC, one of Spain's largest national dailies. Yerbabuena was awarded Spain's National Dance Prize in 2001 in recognition of her place among the great figures of flamenco. Among her international credits is a collaboration with famed German choreographer Pina Bausch in which she appeared with Mikhail Baryshnikov. She appears with her company of musicians in Ay!.
