Bug out

Albuquerque’s Open Space Alliance is hosting a “Celebrate the Pollinators” film series this summer. Screenings run every Saturday in the Open Space Visitor Center’s Media Room from 1:30 to 3:30pm. Admission is free. This Saturday, June 14, catch the animated family film The Ant Bully. On June 21 it’s the 2008 drama The Secret Life of Bees (which is really more of a coming-of-age tale set in the Civil Rights-era South—but it does have bees in it). On June 28 it’s the stop-motion-animated adaptation of Roald Dahl’s James and the Giant Peach. That’s got lots of bugs in it. The Open Space Visitor Center is located a 6500 Coors NW.
