SuperGiant, Anesthesia, Requiem Mass, Caustic Lye, Suspended, Until Chaos, Echoes Of Fallen, Torture Victim, Eve of an End and The Ground Beneath pay their respects to Kirsten Landeau and Dillon Cearfoss. The two, aunt and nephew, were tragically killed in August. Landeau was a member of the Duke City Darlin's, a charitable group of tattooed and pierced women that works with the local music community to better the world. Oh, the sweet joys of fall. Cooler weather, changing leaves, comfy sweaters and pumpkin-flavored everything make it a season worth loving. The friendly folks in the village to the north seem to agree. Every year since 1986, they have honored the autumn in style with the annual Corrales Harvest Festival. The jubilee offers tractor and pony rides, a pet parade, wine and beer tastings, live entertainment, a corn maze and a mechanical bull. Spend the day meandering through food and vendor tents, or stop by the Old Church to experience the mercado antiguo, featuring Spanish arts and crafts, chile ristra stringing, music, and a display of antique photos, maps and documents. Tickets to this bucolic celebration are $5 for adults and $2 for kids ages 5-11. (Emily Aragon)

The State Fair may be over, but there's still a good time to be had at Expo New Mexico. At the Southwest Taco and Tequila Festival, dozens of samples of the agave-based liquor will be available for tasting, as well as a variety of Mexican food.
