The '90s hip-hop reunion tour is in full effect. The next act coming to a venue near you is Bronx hip-hop duo Camp Lo. Sister (407 Central NW) welcomes Sonny Cheeba (Salahadeen Wilds) and Geechi Suede (Saladine Wallace) for a New Year's Eve fête. Celebrate old memories and make new ones as Camp Lo perform their 1997 album, Uptown Saturday Night. Honestly, the only song I remembered was its top hit, “Luchini AKA This Is It,” but it holds up surprisingly well in almost-2013. Local hip-hop crew Zoology, Nick Furious and DJ Wae Funky add to the festivity. The 21-and-over sendoff for 2012 kicks off at 8 p.m., and admission is $18. (Samantha Anne Carrillo)

The city of Vienna, Austria, known by many for its namesake tiny sausages, is also noted for turning out classical masters such as Mozart, Beethoven and Strauss. Music from this capitol city ranges from opera to cabaret to the culturally-unique genre known at Wienerlied. This weekend, the The Figueroa Music and Arts Project Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Guillermo Figueroa, presents an evening of waltzes, polkas, and Hungarian dances and rhapsodies.
