Save Your Money for Beer
Use these resources to get personal services on the cheap
By Rebecca NietoIt's back to school season, and you want to leave summer behind looking and feeling good. But the moths in your wallet have begun to procreate. What's a prudent-pocketed spender to do this time of year? Some of the best deals on haircuts, acupuncture and massages can be found through services rendered to the public through trade colleges. You pay a discounted rate to get yourself poked, rubbed and coiffed by students, and they receive training that goes toward their accreditation. Aces! Go forth, and relax thriftily.
