* 5:45 to 6:45 a.m. Dawn Patrol

* 7 to 10 a.m. Flying Competition: Balloon Fiesta Hold ’Em presented by Sandia Resort & Casino

10:30 a.m. You can’t visit Albuquerque without strolling through Old Town , the city’s first neighborhood and a hub of local stores, restaurants and art. The historic neighborhood is just east of Rio Grande between Mountain and Central. Take the Rio Grande exit south off I-40 to get there by highway. ( albuquerqueoldtown.com)

4 to 6:30 p.m. While you’re in the area, hit up Seasons Rotisserie & Grill’s happy hour, which tied for the best in the city in our poll. In addition to 4 to 6:30 p.m., happy hour is held again from 9 to 10 p.m. Weekdays only. (21+, 2031 Mountain NW, 766-5100, seasonsabq.com)

7 p.m. Once the evening rolls around, get yourself to Coaches Sports Grill (Best Sports Bar) for a Beer Pong Tournament (swbeerpong.com). Registration is from 6 to 6:45 p.m., and the game begins at 7 p.m. The Grand Prize is $500. (21+, $20 competition entry fee per person at the door, $15 per person pre-registered online or $10 per person all-girl teams. Free to watch. 1414 Central SE, 242-7111, coachessportsgrill.net)

7:30 p.m. Or if you’d rather get an education you can put to use, go to the “BJ 101” class, taught at Self Serve (voted Best Sexy Shop). Learn how to give him "the best BJ of his life." Make sure you call ahead, because these classes often sell out. We wish we could also instruct you to go to Self Serve’s “Cunnilingus 101” class, but that already passed. Locals, keep an eye on its website for upcoming sessions. ($15, 3904B Central SE, 265-5815, selfservetoys.com)
