3) La Quiche Parisienne Bistro

Best Chocolates

ChocolateDude

Sometimes you just need chocolate. And where do Burqueños go when that craving arises? None other than ChocolateDude. This Nob Hill confectionary takes their chocolate seriously. Everything is made fresh daily, using Guittard Chocolate from San Francisco. C'mon, you know your mouth is watering. (TG)

2) Theobrama Chocolatier

3) The Chocolate Cartel

Best Doughnuts

Rebel Donut

Bursting onto the scene in 2012, Rebel Donut changed the doughnut game in Albuquerque. Home to the signature Blue Sky doughnut, a vanilla cake doughnut with cotton candy blue icing and sprinkled with “Breaking Bad” “crystal meth” (blue crystallized sugar) on top. It's addicting. (TG)

Best Cupcakes/Cakes

Smallcakes

A cupcake and creamery, Smallcakes has cupcake flavors like lemon drop, wedding cake and hot fudge sundae. Get a scoop of ice cream to go with your small cake, too. Their expertly decorated cakes are also insanely gorgeous. (TG)

2) ABC Cake Shop & Bakery

3) Tie: Cake Fetish/Nothing Bundt Cakes

Best Cookies

Rude Boy Cookies

Nestled in the bustling University area, Rude Boy Cookies serves up freshly-baked cookies, maybe even better than your mom's chocolate chip cookies. Rude Boy also offers a Milk Bar (with flavors to add, of course), vegan and cookies made without gluten (though still made in their bakery which is not gluten free). You can also expect classic cookies, but they also offer specialty items like s'mores cookies, decked-out brownies and ice cream sandwiches. (TG)

2) Golden Crown Panaderia

Best Bakery

Golden Crown Panaderia

A family-owned business, Golden Crown Panaderia has been serving up fresh-baked goods since 1972. As if fresh bread isn't good enough, Golden Crown makes cookies, pastries, sandwiches (made with their housemade sliced bread or baguette) and pizza (also on a homemade dough). (TG)

2) Swiss Alps Bakery

3) Tie: Flying Star Cafe/ ABC Cake Shop & Bakery

Best Ice Cream/Frozen Yogurt/Gelato

Frost, A Gelato Shoppe

Gelato beat frozen yogurt and ice cream this year—Frost Gelato, that is. Serving up flavors like honey lavendar, tiramisu, chai tea—plus all the usual suspects—Frost's two locations (Nob Hill and the Uptown Shopping Center) are keeping Albuquerque cool and satisfied. (TG)

2) I Scream Ice Cream

Best Pie

Flying Star Cafe

Taking home the top honors for Best Pie (and they also won for Best Desserts) is Flying Star. Are we surprised? Not really. Flying Star bakes their pies fresh in their own commissary. Tried and true pie offerings include cherry, strawberry rhubarb, Dutch apple crumble, plus seasonal favorites like pumpkin and pecan. (TG)

2) New Mexico Pie Company

3) 66 Diner

Best Milkshakes

66 Diner

A fun retro diner, really leaning into the 1950s theme, 66 Diner has the best milkshakes in town, according to voters. The shakes are creamy, thick and fun to share, Archie Comics-style. (TG)

2) Owl Cafe
