The Week in Sloth
“The Law Firm” (NBC 8 p.m.) Highfalutin' TV producer David Kelley (“L.A. Law,” “Ally McBeal,” “Boston Legal”) gets bitten by the reality show bug. In this new series, two teams of wannabe lawyers square off against each other in real-life cases.
“Arrested Development” (KASA-2 7 p.m.) If you didn't watch this past season (and shame on you if you didn't), here's your chance to atone for it with a four-episode mini-marathon. It's even on a different night, in case Sundays were a problem for you. Seriously: No excuses this time. Watch.
“Battlestar Galactica” (Sci-Fi 8 p.m.) Richard Hatch (Apollo on the original “Battlestar”) returns for another cameo appearance. Makes you wonder where Dirk Benedict is these days.
Irene, Yo y Mi Otra Yo (KTEL-18 8 p.m.) Funny how the titular pun in Me, Myself and Irene just doesn't translate into Spanish. Makes you wonder if the movie is any funnier in Spanish. Because it wasn't all that funny in English.
“Last Mysteries of the Titanic” (Discovery 7 p.m.) God, we can only hope so.
Road House (Spike 6 p.m.) Apparently, someone is making a sequel to this 1989 non-classic starring Patrick Swayze at his Swayziest. Personally, I would have preferred the towering angels with the flaming trumpets, but I suppose it's as good a sign of the Apocalypse as any.
“The 13th Annual Movieguide Faith and Values Awards Gala” (KCHF-11 8 p.m.) Honoring such reverent, religion-filled Hollywood films as ... Uh, can we just give more awards to Passion of the Christ?
“Hell's Kitchen” (KASA-2 7 p.m.) Contestants finally find out which of them gets to work for bitchy jerk of a restaurateur Gordon Ramsay. ... That's a prize?
“Circus Freaks and Sideshows” (History 9 p.m.) Circus and sideshow performers share their memories of the long-lost midway.
“Meet Mr. Mom” (NBC 7 p.m.) Husbands compete in a new reality show to see who makes the best stay-at-home dad. Note to America: If I don't want to peer into the lives of celebrities like Bobby Brown, I sure as hell don't want to peer in to the lives of ordinary shlubs like you. What's next on the reality show agenda? “Watch Me Scrub Grout for an Hour”? “Celebrity Car Wash”? “American Gas Pump Attendant”?
“Kathy Griffin is ... Not Nicole Kidman” (Bravo 7 p.m.) Comedienne Kathy Griffin uses this standup special to launch her new (sigh) reality series “Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List.”
