“Supernatural” (KWBQ-19 8 p.m.) “Supernatural” signs off for the year with “A Very Supernatural Christmas.” Seems that our spooky detectives Sam and Dean are investigating a series of murders in which the victims were pulled up through chimneys. ... Now that’s the holiday spirit, boys.
“What Perez Sez ... About 2007” (VH1 8 p.m.) Perez Hilton--famous for blogging about people who are famous for being famous--gives his catty opinions about this year’s headline-grabbers.
“2007 World Magic Awards” (KASY-50 7 p.m.) Yes, they have magic awards. And yes, MyNet is desperate enough to broadcast them.
Christmas in Paradise (Lifetime 7 p.m.) While vacationing in the Caribbean, bonds form among a man and his two children and a woman and her two children. ... Who cares? They’re still two kids short of a Brady Bunch.
“Critics Choice: Best Movies of 2007” (VH1 8 p.m.) Bring the Noise vs. La Vie En Rose: Let the arguments begin.
“Survivor” (KRQE-13 7 p.m.) Another year, another “Survivor” season finale.
“Extras: Extra Special Series Finale” (HBO 10 p.m.) “The Office” creator Ricky Gervais returns to his follow-up sitcom for a 90 minute sign-off.
“Clash of the Choirs” (KOB-4 7 p.m) Singers, bands and even country musicians have all had their shot at reality show fame. Why not church choirs? .. Me, I’m holding out for the barbershop quartets.
“Duel” (KOAT-7 7 p.m.) Love game shows? Boy, are you in luck! This Writers’ Guild strike is a goldmine for TV game shows. This one, featuring Mike Greenberg, co-host of ESPN Radio’s “Mike and Mike in the Morning” show, acting as quizmaster is just the first of dozens to follow. ... Don’t love game shows? Man, are you screwed!
Hard as Nails (HBO 9 p.m.) Filmmaker David Holbrooke profiles Justin Fatica, an unordained minister whose methods cause controversy. See, he’s Catholic, but he acts Baptist. Crazy, I know.
“A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila” (MTV 11 p.m.) Tila Tequila will finally choose her perfect mate in tonight’s first season finale. Don’t hold your breath for a season two, though. Rumor is this reality dating show has been swept off the air because it’s entirely fake. Tequila is reportedly not actually a bisexual and has been living with her boyfriend for more than a year. Sorry to spoil your illusions.
“Journeyman” (KOB-4 9 p.m.) Not only does the “Journeyman” season finale get bumped over to Wednesday night, it’s apparently the first part of a two-part cliffhanger. And rumor has it, the show won’t be returning for any more episodes in the future. Sorry, loyal viewers. Feel free to unleash the fanfic.
“Exxon Mobile Presents A Holiday Celebration at Ford’s Theater” (KOAT-7 9 p.m.) Exxon Mobile would like to take this opportunity to remind you that, contrary to popular belief, coal actually does make a fine stocking-stuffer. Load up on fossil fuels for the holidays, America!
Dance Film: Cuban Fury at National Hispanic Cultural Center
In this 2014 film a former teen salsa champion, now an out-of-shape office worker, attempts a comeback 22 years later when his passion for dancing is re-ignited by his crush on his attractive new boss.
