Thursday 12

“Bravo’s A-List Awards” (Bravo 8 p.m.) D-list star Kathy Griffith hosts this show toasting the cream of the A-list crop in a variety of fields–from fashion to cooking to acting. … Where else are you gonna see Barack Obama competing against Britney Spears and Ryan Seacrest (none of whom, I’m sure, will be there) for the same award?

Friday 13

“Battlestar Galactica” (Sci-Fi 8 p.m.) Given that tonight is the “fourth season summer finale,” we can assume this is not the actual series finale and that producers are stretching this final season as far as possible.

Saturday 14

“Made” (MTV 9 p.m.) MTV celebrates its 100 th episode of “Made” by turning some dude into “The Karate Kid” for a day. Really? Couldn’t you have come up with a cooler ’80s martial arts hero than Daniel-san to transform yourself into? Lone Wolf McQuade at least?

“Dana Carvey: Squatting Monkeys Tell No Lies” (HBO 11 p.m.) Mike Myers’ “Wayne’s World” partner returns from post-“SNL” obscurity ( The Master of Disguise , anyone?) for a stand-up special.

Sunday 15

“62 nd Annual Tony Awards” (KRQE-13 7 p.m.) Among this year’s nominees: Cry-Baby, Xanadu, The Little Mermaid, Boeing-Boeing, Grease, Young Frankenstein . … Um, aren’t those all movies ?

“2008 TV Land Awards” (TV Land 7 p.m.) Because, you know, “The Golden Girls” deserves an award.

“Britain’s Worst Teeth” (BBC America 7 p.m.) Do you really want to highlight that, BBC?

“Fat Guy Stuck in Internet” (Cartoon Network 1:15 a.m.) Think of CN’s new live-action series as a retarded, no-budget version of Tron .

Monday 16

“The Middle Man” (ABC Family 7 p.m.) The satirical comic book series about a female temp who gets a job helping a square-jawed superhero defend Earth from alien invasions and other extraordinary threats (gorilla mobsters, tentacled ass-monsters) comes to life on a weekly basis.

“Psychic Kids: Children of the Paranormal” (A&E 8 p.m.) I’ve seen Village of the Damned . You give those creepy little psychic kids an inch and they’ll fry your brain.

“Weeds” (Showtime 8 p.m.) “Weeds” cruises into its fourth season with Nancy ditching suburban Agrestic for the wild and woolly world of the Mexico-California border.

“Secret Diary of a Call Girl” (Showtime 8:30 p.m.) Showtime imports this naughty British miniseries starring Billie Piper (Rose from “Doctor Who”) as a high-class prostitute. The Doctor would not approve. But I do.

Tuesday 17

“AFI’s 10 Top 10” (KRQE-13 7 p.m.) The American Film Institute ticks off the top 10 films in 10 classic genres. Hey, it’s good for your Netflix cue.

Wednesday 18

“Black Gold” (truTV 7 p.m.) The fact that somebody tapped Matthew McConaughey’s brother Rooster (yes, “Rooster”) to star in a new reality series isn’t nearly as shocking as the fact that this guy is a professional oil well driller.
