Casting Cowboys

Calling all old-fashioned, rough-riding, mean-looking actors. There will be a open casting call for the low-budget, feature-length Western The Righteous and the Wicked on Saturday, May 2. The film mixes classic Western elements with those of a traditional heist film. Producers are planning to shoot outside Albuquerque and around northern New Mexico this July. There are seven lead roles up for grabs, all male, in the age ranges of 20s to 50s. Auditions will take place at Jensen Entertainment Studio (505 Second Street NW) from noon to 4 p.m. For complete details on the auditions and rundowns on the characters, log on to www.505films.com.
