Thursday 15

Glee” (KASA-2 8 p.m.) The “Glee” cast performs songs from Grease. Hopefully not the same songs from Grease they performed last time they performed songs from Grease. If only someone other than Journey, Britney Spears and the writers of Grease composed music.

Crossfire Hurricane (HBO 7 p.m.) HBO looks back at 50 years’ worth of tunes by The Rolling Stones. See, why can’t the kids from “Glee” do a couple of these? … On second thought, never mind.

“Jersey Brides” (TLC 8 p.m.) Look, New Jersey. We’re sorry about the hurricane and all, but we just can’t stomach any more Jersey-based reality shows.

Friday 16

“We Will Always Love You: A Grammy Salute to Whitney Houston” (KRQE-13 9 p.m.) Celine Dion, Jennifer Hudson, Usher, LL Cool J and Britney Spears pay tribute to Whitney Houston—probably by singing a lot of vowel sounds.

Saturday 17

Holiday High Reunion (Lifetime 6 p.m.) Listen up, Lifetime.

Matchmaker Santa (Hallmark 6 p.m.) You too, Hallmark. If you’re both going to do the head-to-head Christmas-themed rom-com thing for the rest of the year, we might have to separate you.

Sunday 18

It’s Christmas, Carol! (Hallmark 6 p.m.) What did I just say?

Holiday Spin (Lifetime 7 p.m.) That’s it, you guys. No Valentine’s Day movies for either of you until you learn to share.

“The 40th Anniversary American Music Awards” (KOAT-7 7 p.m.) Skrillex gets his first AMA nod in the brand new Electronic Dance Music category. If those videos of old people reacting to Skrillex music on YouTube are any indication, he’s a shoe-in.

“The Dust Bowl” (KNME-5 7 p.m.) PBS documentary king Ken Burns points out that maybe things aren’t so bad here in America these days by showing us pictures of when the economy was really crappy.

Monday 19

Red Dawn (Spike 7:30 p.m.) The remake of Red Dawn hits theaters on Wednesday, but you can relive the 1984, um, “classic” (shot right here in New Mexico) courtesy of Spike. While you’re at it, try to figure out why Lea Thompson and Jennifer Grey are even in this movie.

Tuesday 20

“The New Girl” (KASA-2 8 p.m.) Holidays are good on sitcoms for one reason and one reason only: presenting special celebrity guest parents. Tonight, we meet Jess’ parents, Jamie Lee Curtis and Rob Reiner.

Wednesday 21

“A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving” (KOAT-7 7 p.m.) Ask yourself, seriously, how many times have you seen this thing over the years? Then watch it again.
