Thursday 30

“Renovation Raiders” (HGTV 7 p.m.) Yes, all of HGTV’s shows are about buying houses or renovating houses. But at least they’re sticking to the “home and garden” theme. Unlike Animal Planet.

Friday 31

Space Warriors (Hallmark 6 p.m.) The son of a retired astronaut competes to win a seat on the next space shuttle (even though we don’t have those any more). Dermot Mulroney, Mira Sorvino, Josh Lucas and Danny Glover star.

Richard Pryor: Omit the Logic (Showtime 7 p.m.) Dave Chappelle, Lily Tomlin, Robin Williams, Bob Newhart and others offer insights into the mind of late comedian Richard Pryor.

“Treehouse Masters” (Animal Planet 8 p.m.) World-renowned treehouse builder Pete Nelson travels the globe constructing fabulously expensive treehouses. … What’s this got to do with animals, AnPlan?

Saturday 1

“SheZow” (The Hub 10:30 a.m.) There aren’t a lot of transgender superheroes in kids’ cartoons. This Australian-Canadian series features a 12-year-old boy named Guy who finds a power ring belonging to his deceased aunt, who was a superhero. Naturally it transforms him into a crime-fighting hero—in a dress.

“Wizards vs Aliens” (The Hub 4 p.m.) Russell T. Davies (“Queer as Folk,” “Doctor Who,” “Torchwood”) created this live-action series about a 16-year-old wizard and his scientist best friend who fight off alien invaders.

Norman Rockwell’s Shuffleton’s Barbershop (Hallmark Movie Channel 7 p.m.) Danny Glover stars in this made-for-TV movie based on a painting.

Sunday 2

“The Killing” (AMC 6 p.m.) After dragging out its first murder investigation for two whole seasons, AMC’s “The Killing” finally moves on to another case.

“The Women’s Concert for Change: Live From London” (KOB-4 8 p.m.) Beyoncé, Ellie Goulding, Florence and the Machine, Jay-Z, Jennifer Lopez and John Legend help raise awareness for female empowerment by plugging their new albums.

“Top Hooker” (Animal Planet 8 p.m.) Sadly not a prostitution reality show competition, but a fishing reality show competition.

“The Venture Bros.” (Cartoon Network 1 a.m.) The fifth season finally premieres. Go, Team Venture!

Monday 3

“The Fosters” (ABC Family 7 p.m.) From executive producer Jennifer Lopez (maker of “South Beach Tow”) comes an hour-long, multiethnic drama about a family with foster kids. Named the Fosters. Clever.

“Mistresses” (KOAT-7 9 p.m.) Alyssa Milano returns to TV in a “sexy soap” based on the BBC series of the same name.

Tuesday 4

“Exit” (Syfy 8 p.m.) Contestants try to escape from a series of booby-trapped rooms. Based on a Japanese game show (of course).

“Swamp Murders” (ID 8 p.m.) Kudos to ID for branching out and adding at least one subgenre (Cajun rednecks) to its well-established, murder-based lineup. Can “Amish Murders” and “Gypsy Murders” be far behind?

“The Alectrix” (MTV 12 a.m.) Remember when up-and-coming bands had music videos on MTV? Not reality shows?

Wednesday 5

“Beverly Hills Pawn” (Reelz 7 p.m.) In case you were wondering what pawn shops are like in cities other than Las Vegas (“Pawn Stars”), Alexandria (“Cajun Pawn Stars”), Fort Bragg (“Combat Pawn”), Detroit (“Hardcore Pawn”) and Chicago (“Hardcore Pawn: Chicago”).
