Thursday 20

“Thanksgiving Unstuffed” (FYI 8pm) It’s only a week until Thanksgiving, so let the food porn begin! Here celebrity chef Marcus Samuelsson, food writer Gail Simmons and comedian Max Silvestri prepare “an epic Thanksgiving meal for their friends and family.” Just like they do every year, I’m sure.

Friday 21

“EAT: The Story of Food” (National Geographic 7pm) NG fires up its six-hour miniseries about the history of modern cuisine with a tribute to “food revolutionaries” such as Christopher Columbus, Julia Child, Auguste Escoffier and Clarence Birdseye.

Saturday 22

“Thanksgiving at Bobby’s” (Food 10am) Not to be outdone by that jerk Marcus Samuelsson, Bobby Flay cooks dinner for his friends and family with Alex Guarnaschelli and Michael Symon.

An En Vogue Christmas (Lifetime 6pm) The “funky divas” of En Vogue reunite to save the now-struggling nightclub that made them famous. This fictional musical stars the actual ladies of En Vogue as themselves. Everybody else is faking it.

“Amish Renogades” (DIY 8pm) … As in “renovation.” The hammer-swinging costars of “Vanilla Ice Goes Amish” get their own spin-off show. Now they’re traveling across the country tackling home-improvement projects, Amish-style.

Hello Ladies: The Movie (HBO 8pm) Comedian Stephen Merchant’s TV series gets a feature film revival. To impress his ex and her husband, Stuart (Merchant) hires a Russian model to pose as his girlfriend.

Sunday 23

“2014 American Music Awards” (KOAT-7 7pm) Rapper Pitbull hosts. Taylor Swift, Mary J. Blige, Fergie, Lorde and Iggy Azalea perform. But it’s the impending knock-down drag-out between last week’s tween heartthrobs One Direction and this week’s tween heartthrobs 5 Seconds of Summer that promises the most drama. Your locker door’s not big enough for the both of them, girls.

The Christmas Shepherd (Hallmark 6pm) A runaway dog causes two middle-aged singletons to fall in love. Of course it does.

Seasons of Love (Lifetime 7pm) You’re a little late to the holiday rom-com game, Lifetime. But you do get points for bringing Taraji P. Henson, Method Man and Gladys Knight to the table.

Monday 24

“Booze Traveler” (Travel 8pm) Actor/adventurer Jack Maxwell is clearly a man after my own heart, traveling the world and boozing it up in various exotic locales.

“Eric Greenspan is Hungry” (National Geographic 8pm) And Devin O’Leary is kinda loagy, but you don’t see them making a TV show out of that.

Tuesday 25

“New Girl” (KASA-2 8pm) With everyone in the apartment now single, the gang makes a pact to bring Thanksgiving dinner guests who might be compatible with their roommates. This will not end well.

“The Sisterhood: Becoming Nuns” (Lifetime 8pm) If you’ve been waiting on that nun-based reality show, it’s finally here.

Wednesday 26

The Whale: Revenge of the Deep (Animal Planet 7pm) The true story that inspired Moby Dick is recounted in this historical drama.

“When Turkeys Attack” (Destination America 8pm) If you’re feeling bad about eating all those turkeys tomorrow, just watch this.
